Malia is Samoan, born and raised in Aotearoa and has recently moved back after living in Australia for 11 years. She is a Christian artist who has collaborated with others like Licy-Be and was part of Youth Alive based in Brisbane, Australia for many years having co-written on projects such as Have It All (Live) , Heavens Open Wide, Young Hearts & More of You (Live).

Malia has a passion for bringing hope through lyrics and melody. Having written songs since her early teens, Malia has seen just how powerful articulating truth for someone is and the impact of giving people a song of hope to sing - especially for those in crisis as they often are lost for words. She believes whole heartedly that HOPE interwoven with Truth is the most precious gift you could ever offer as a song writer.
